on a two year-long journey into the wilds of spell-craft, herbalism, folklore, myth, ritual, ceremony, and living in rhythm with the seasons - within and without.
The Hedgewitch Apprenticeship is a conscious exploration of your living magick. Guided by the solar and lunar seasons, the cycles of land and life, we invite you to mindfully come into this sacred collective to discover, craft, and deepen your relationship with your own path of medicine and magick.

Elements & Directions, and the Celtic vision of seeing & being.
The Spiral Dance of the Year
Our in-person work together will follow the Celtic Wheel of the Year focused on the wisdom of the cyclical change of Seasons through birth, life, death & rebirth. We will gather for long weekends (Friday-Sunday) here in the Catskills, four times per year. The first year of your apprenticeship will spiral through the quarter days of the solar cross and be held by:
Spring Equinox (Ostara) - March
Summer Solstice (Midsummer/Litha) - June
Fall Equinox (Mabon) - September
Winter Solstice (Yule) - December
During your second year of apprenticeship, you will spiral through the Fire Festivals culminating with Rites of Initiation at the Celtic New Year (Samhain):

Bealtaine - April
Lughnasadh - August
Samhain- October
Living in Sacred Time
Once per Season (Spring, Summer, Autumn, Winter) on a Friday nearest a Dark, New, or Full Moon we will gather virtually in the evening for connection and practices. These meetings will hold space as Q&A sessions, as well as ritual and pathworking meditation.
Holding that each lunar cycle can be seen as a season in and of itself, these sessions will be rooted in connecting to your own inner seasonalities and exploring what it means to hold life itself as ritual.
Crafting Your Path
In the liminal space between our in-person and virtual gatherings you will be asked to devote yourself to study, discovery, & crafting your own path of medicine & magick. You will be given a daily practice, rituals, spell-craft, medicine-making guides, a reading list, and suggested materials list to work with. These will all be deeply aligned with the turning of the Wheel, seasonal thresholds, and the Lunar cycles.
This will be a time of self-discipline, discernment, integrity, and connection to Self. All individual work and practices will be in service of you connecting to your inherent magick, the wisdom of the land, and a deepening of relationship between you and the invisible.

In-Person Weekend Details
All in-person weekends will take place here at Witchwood in Davenport, NY.
Fridays: 4pm-9pm
Saturdays: 10am-9pm
Sundays: 10am-1pm
While lecture, practices, rituals, etc. will take place both indoors and outdoors, please be prepared to be outdoors in all types of weather.
Lodging:
You are responsible for your lodging each weekend. We will provide a list of local B&Bs, AirBnBs, and towns within a reasonable distance to book your stay. We highly recommend arranging & sharing housing with other apprentices.
Transportation:
While driving is easiest, there is a Trailways bus that goes between NYC & Davenport daily. If you are considering this option, please let us know upon acceptance to the program as transportation to/from lodging and our gatherings will need to be arranged.
Meals:
A vegetarian dinner will be provided on Friday & Saturday evenings. While we will have a lunch break on Saturdays, it is up to you to bring your own lunch.
Energy Exchange
Total 2 Year Program Cost ~ $4800 (cash/check)*
Payments are Non-Refundable as this is a limited enrollment opportunity.
Can be paid in full upon acceptance or $24oo per year.
If paying per year, a non-refundable deposit of $300 is due upon acceptance.
The remaining $2100 for the year is due by the start of Year 1 on March 15, 2024
The balance of $24oo will be due by the start of Year 2 on January 24th, 2025.
*If credit card payment is desired, a 3% fee will be added to the total program cost.
